Welcome to Bhutan, the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Touching down at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide upon exiting the arrival hall. Today, we will take it easy to acclimatise to the altitude. Drive to Thimphu, check in to the hotel and let's have your first taste of Bhutanese cuisine.

Around Thimphu Town [1 hour] - Strolling around Thimphu town offers a delightful blend of tradition and modern life in Bhutan’s capital. Start at Clock Tower Square, the lively heart of the city adorned with carved wooden façades, prayer wheels, and water fountains —and a charming spot to linger while locals chat or browse the weekend market. From here, wander down Norzin Lam, Thimphu’s main street, where boutique shops, handicraft stores, and cafés invite you in. Along the way, admire traditional architecture—ornate wood carvings, colourful murals, and fluttering prayer flags—woven seamlessly into everyday life.

View of Tashichho Dzong [1 hour]. As dusk falls, Tashichho Dzong transforms into a shimmering jewel in the heart of Thimphu. Floodlit in warm amber and red tones, its towering white walls and golden roofs glow against the deepening night sky, creating an almost magical silhouette. The courtyard falls silent after evening prayers, and you're left alone to appreciate the sheer scale and serenity of Bhutan's political and spiritual centre. Many visitors linger past the flag-lowering ceremony just to soak in the twilight atmosphere when the lights first bathe the dzong, making for a photographer’s dream and a heartfelt moment of calm.

漫步廷布，感受不丹首都传统文化与现代生活交融的独特魅力。从热闹的时钟广场出发，欣赏精美的木雕建筑外墙、转经轮与喷泉，看看当地居民闲聊、逛市集，体验悠闲的生活气息。随后沿着廷布的主要街道 Norzin Lam 漫步，探索特色商店、手工艺品店及咖啡馆。沿途的精致木雕、缤纷壁画与随风飘扬的经幡，将不丹的传统之美融入日常生活。

欣赏扎西确宗夜景【约1小时】
暮色降临，扎西确宗宛如廷布市中心一颗璀璨的明珠。在温暖的琥珀色与红色灯光映照下，高耸的白墙与金色屋顶在渐深的夜空中格外耀眼，勾勒出如梦似幻的轮廓。晚祷结束后，庭院渐渐归于宁静，让人静心感受这座不丹政治与宗教中心的宏伟与庄严。许多游客会在降旗仪式后稍作停留，欣赏华灯初上的迷人景致。这里既是捕捉美丽夜景的绝佳地点，也为旅程带来一段宁静而难忘的时光。

Thimphu | Elevation approximately 2,334 meters

Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan and the center of government, religion, and commerce. Here, tradition and modernity seamlessly blendly, and visitors can explore temples, forts, pagodas, museums, handicraft shops, and parks to experience the daily life and culture of the locals.

• Motitang Takin Reserve [approx. 2 hours]:
  Get up close to the takin, Bhutan's national animal, in a forest reserve and experience the tranquil natural environment.

• Visit the Big Buddha Point [approximately 1 hour]
  to admire the 51.5-meter-tall Shakyamuni Buddha statue and the scenery of the Thimphu Valley. The interior of the Buddha statue houses more than 100,000 smaller Buddha statues.

• Visit the century-old farmers market [approximately 1 hour]
  to browse the weekend market, see local produce, handicrafts and traditional textiles, and also sample dumplings and fresh juices.

• Visit the National Monument Pagoda [approximately 1 hour]
  to admire the vibrant murals and Buddhist sculptures, and experience the daily religious life of local residents as they circumambulate the pagoda in prayer.

• Tashi Chok Dzong [approx. 1 hour]
  : Visit this important dzong, admire the traditional architecture and courtyards, and learn about the integration of Bhutanese politics and religious life.

• Visit the General Post Office [approximately 1 hour]
  to tour the Postal Museum, learn about the development of Bhutanese postal service and stamps, and even have your own stamps made.

廷布｜海拔约2,334米

廷布是 Bhutan 的首都，也是政府、宗教与商业中心。这里传统与现代交融，可参观寺庙、宗堡、佛塔、博物馆、手工艺店与公园，感受当地人的日常生活与文化。

• 莫蒂唐羚牛保护区［约2小时］

  欣赏高达51.5米的释迦牟尼佛像及廷布山谷景色。佛像内部供奉超过十万尊小佛像。

• 百年农夫市场［约1小时］
  逛逛周末市场，看看当地农产品、手工艺品与传统织物，也可品尝饺子和新鲜果汁。

• 国家纪念碑佛塔［约1小时］
  观赏色彩鲜明的壁画与佛教雕塑，感受当地居民绕塔祈祷的日常信仰生活。

• 扎西却宗［约1小时］
  参观这座重要的宗堡，欣赏传统建筑与庭院，了解不丹政务与宗教生活的结合。

• 邮政总局［约1小时］
  参观邮政博物馆，了解不丹邮政与邮票的发展，还可制作印有个人照片的邮票。

Thimphu – Punakha | Altitude 1,242 meters | Approximately 2.5 hours by car

After breakfast, we will depart, cross the Dochula Pass, and head to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan.

• Dochula Pass [approx. 1 hour] : Visit 108 memorial stupas, and on a clear day, enjoy views of the Himalayas.
• Punakha Dzong [approx. 1–2 hours] : Admire the magnificent dzong and exquisite architecture situated at the confluence of the Parent River and the Mother River.
• Chime Lhakhang [approx. 1 hour] : Walk through rural villages and visit temples where you can pray for fertility blessings.
• Father River Suspension Bridge [approx. 1 hour] : Stroll across Bhutan's longest suspension bridge and enjoy views of Punakha Dzong and the valley.

廷布—普那卡｜海拔1,242米｜车程约2.5小时

早餐后出发，翻越多楚拉山口，前往不丹古都普那卡。

• 多楚拉山口［约1小时］：参观108座纪念佛塔，天气晴朗时可远眺喜马拉雅山脉。
• 普那卡宗［约1–2小时］：欣赏坐落于父母河交汇处的壮丽宗堡与精美建筑。
• 奇美拉康［约1小时］：步行穿过田园村落，参访祈求生育祝福的寺庙。
• 父亲河吊桥［约1小时］：漫步不丹最长吊桥，欣赏普那卡宗与河谷景色。

Tiger’s Nest Hike | Elevation: 2,200m | Approx. 6 hours

Hike through pine forests and prayer flags to Bhutan’s iconic cliffside monastery.

• Taktsang Monastery [approx. 6 hours]: Visit the famed Tiger’s Nest, perched high above Paro Valley.
• Hot Stone Bath [optional, 1 hour]: Enjoy a traditional herbal bath. Additional charges apply.

虎穴寺徒步｜海拔2,200米｜约6小时

徒步前往不丹著名地标——帕罗虎穴寺。沿途穿越松林与经幡，欣赏壮丽山景。

• 帕罗虎穴寺［约6小时］：参观建于悬崖上的寺庙，往返徒步约需6小时。
• 不丹热石浴［自选，约1小时］：体验传统草药热石浴，需额外付费。
